Every artwork on Claritas Art travels from the artist’s studio to your wall with care, tracking and insurance.

How shipping works
Artworks ship directly from the artist’s studio. Once your order is confirmed, the artist prepares the work, packs it to our packaging standards and hands it to a tracked carrier.
You receive an email with the tracking number as soon as the work is on its way, and you can follow every order from your account.
Preparation and delivery times
Artists prepare and dispatch most works within 3 to 7 business days. Framed pieces, large formats and commissions may need longer; any extra preparation time is shown on the artwork page before you buy.
- Domestic delivery: usually 2 to 5 business days after dispatch
- International delivery: usually 5 to 12 business days after dispatch
- Remote destinations and customs checks can add a few days
Packaging standards
Every artist on Claritas Art agrees to our packaging standards. Canvases are wrapped in acid-free paper and protective film with corner guards; works on paper ship flat between rigid boards or rolled in a strong tube; framed and fragile works ship in reinforced boxes or crates.
Insurance and tracking
All shipments are tracked and insured for their full purchase price while in transit. If a work is lost or damaged on the way, you are covered by our Buyer Protection.
International orders, duties and taxes
Claritas Art connects collectors and artists in many countries. For international orders, import duties, VAT and local taxes may be charged by your country’s customs authority on delivery. These charges are set by local authorities and are the buyer’s responsibility unless the artwork page says otherwise.
Shipping costs
The shipping cost for your address is calculated at checkout, before you pay. It depends on the size and weight of the work, its packaging and the destination.
